Most people do not consume enough vegetables and a recent survey revealed that only 29% eat the recommended 5 portions of vegetables a day. The problem could be sub-clinical nutrition disorders which arise from not understanding the benefits andsub-clinical deficienciesof various nutrients needed in specific dietary channels. The deficiencies in the diet of a person could be due to:
Gardening:Alfalfa, beans, peas, spinach, red pepper, sweet potato, turnips, zucchini Orange / Yellow: Carrots, sweet potato, pumpkin, winter squash Cucumber, cantaloupe, radishes, peas, spinach, tomatoes Chlorophyll, / Green: Grapes, broccoli, botanical leafy greens (asparagus, leaf lettuces, green beans, celery, etc.) Melon, watermelon, cucumber, apricots, blueberries, barley grass, kiwifruit, etc.
Herbal medicines:Sage / Green tea Uncle Ben’s Grow N potent tea, St. John’s Wort, licorice, and yellow dock root balsam gum could all have good antidiarrheal or wound healing properties.
Skin Diseases:Dairy free, yeast free, wheat free, lindane free yogurt helps to control eczema, psoriasis, and other skin diseases such as eczema, dermatitis, burns, itchy sores, and dry, rough, scaly skin.
Migraines:Sativegmocrates said that green leafy vegetables are the diet of the wise, and that we should learn by experience as to the value of a diet of vegetables and fruits. My own experience together with the experience of others who have used the power of herbs and a diet of fruits and vegetable has been wonderful. My migraine episodes have virtually disappeared, many figs (but notatics), blackberries, blue berries, cherries, raspberries, and various other berries have brought relief. My valerian, passion fruit and pear have greatly reduced my Frequency of migraine attacks.
Allergies:In a study done on adults with known allergic reactions to plants or synthetic foodstuffs, the following was found: One quarter of the adults interviewed said their symptoms either lessened, disappeared, or improved after consuming 12 organically grown fruits and vegetables per day. A large percentage of those interviewed said their reactions to pollution and bright lights and to common stimulants like coffee and gasoline.
Chronic pain problems:The absence of pain, stiffness, and other symptoms is reported to be the major results of a diet rich in fruits andorganic cane. As a result, many smokers, people undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, and people with the most extreme cases of fibromyalgia have found improvements.
Dietary changes:I used to Follow a routine that included an early breakfast, a mid-morning snack, an afternoon snack, and dinner at about 6:00 p.m., with only a nibble of grape or cherry tomatoes. On an average, I would eat one meal a day between 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. and no other meal between 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Once I changed my eating habits a little, along with a ritual sleep through routine, my symptoms disappear overnight. An easy way to test for allergies, without getting intimately involved with the test, is to expose your tongue to some sort of common allergen. If you noticeFIRSTarticlein yourucking madepression, it is a strong sign that you may have a problem with allergies.
The potential for vitamin deficiency is high in people who make poor meal choices, eat processed, and fast foods, eat too much fast food, too much processed food, and Skip meals entirely. This is because when the body is not getting the vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients it needs on a regular schedule, it will become dependent on that food source. Then when the schedule is off, the person is susceptible to craving that food because it makes them feel better than any other food source.
I recommend to all of you to add to your diet the number of fruits and vegetables that are in there, with a particular emphasis on the dark green vegetable category. The vitamin and mineral content in the foods that are higher in color is of higher quality than other, and they tend to be more nutritious and contain less calories as well.
Along with other additives like artificial flavoring, artificial coloring, and sucralose, calorie free sweeteners also masquerade under the name of safe, “volatile oils.”
