First of all, let’s get the easy part out of the way. I don’t think there is an easy way. Every year people are finding that except for the activities kids do to get their hearts pumping, there is one thing a human being can do to greatly increase weight loss. Yes! Diet and Exercise.
Balanced diet
A balanced diet. Correct that statement as soon as you hear other people say it. There is a widely held belief that the only way to lose weight is to cut way down on your caloric intake and sustain a diet high in unprocessed animal fat and toxic chemically altered vegetables. This thinking was driven mainstream by a hugely popular TV show, but it is absolutely false. Consuming a wide variety of whole plant foods from grass fed cows, chickens, fish, and bison is a hell of a lot better for you than commercially manufactured cookies or frozen fruit bars. I could go into the details of the benefits of eating a wide variety of whole foods in the way of both complete and in parts list, but that wouldn’t be the point. What I’m trying to impress upon you here is that no matter what shape you are in, whether you are overweight, underweight or in the perfect weight for your frame, your diet must be taken into account for failure.
It seems to me that the mainstream media has gotten its hands on the long held health recommendations people have actually gotten no where in actually fulfilling. Hence, all these experts giving expert advice (not a single one of which is actually doing it) on what you should do to lower your weight, only fit into the mainstream media and tvrid which barely descriptive the average person who lacks the training, education, or just plain motivation to actually do what simple nutritionists have been saying for eons. Listen, if you like to imbibe to the “Real Secrets of Health and Fitness”… a la those infomercials, go for it. Listen, even if you speed through the nonsense and just do it naturally, you’ll still be better off than not buddying up to the real, trusted and most importantly caring professional who is already on your side.
Exercise
There are a lot of exercise program out there. You don’t even need a gym membership, you can actually do some of these at home with basic things, like push-ups, pull-ups and body weight squats. Let’s be honest, a lot of these things won’t get it all done. But you have to begin somewhere, so here’s a tip: Fiber rich foods, like oatmeal and certain kinds of fruits/vegetables help to burn fat by boosting your metabolism. These are some of the best diet foods.
High Fiber Diets: These set the foundation for weight loss nutrition. Eating cabbage is one way to do this, but be warned, you have toindulge in foods that aren’t high in fiber often.
Fish: Even though I said this was a diet food, I bet you already know that. All fish helps with diet because of the omega-3 acids it contains and the food ratio, but it also gives you an OK quantity of protein with each meal as compared to most animal based proteins.
Vegetables: This could include green beans, squash and more. There are many others, but that’s the long list. Not only are they good for your health, but there is a wide variety of delicious ways to include them to your diet.
Olive oil: Are you surprised? We’ve known this ever since we were kids. As in, Olive oil is one of the good fats and “The Natural Fat Burner”.
