Healthy Foods To Eat – Can I Afford Eating Healthy?

Are healthy foods to eat really worth the extra expense? The question is often asked with a look of boredom or even with apron noodles gesticuling. After all, eating healthy doesn’t have to be a misery. It doesn’t have to mean eating bland and tasteless foods and skipping all taste. In fact, there is a delicious and healthy way of feeding one’s self. Today, let me present to you just a few of the many healthy foods you may want to consider to change your unhealthy eating habits.

Before I start talking about healthy foods to eat I want to point out that for healthy foods to cost more, you will have to shop more, because it costs more to produce something than it does to buy it from the grocery store. Also, healthy foods to eat may be more expensive, but the added benefits to your health may make it worth the extra expense.

While there is a difference between eating healthy and eating unhealthy foods, the way you decide to respective is more important than ever. The problem with deciding to eat healthy versus unhealthy foods is that you really don’t know what you will get when you get there. Even when you try to eat the healthiest of foods, there is a good chance that you aren’t going to be very satisfied emotionally.

There are many factors that go in to making any decision about what you are going to eat. As a matter of fact, your lifestyle and commitment are much more important than you think, which is why you should consider making a decision to live a healthier life by eating healthy foods to eat.

You can make healthy foods to eat for yourself and your family, which you can then look back and say, “I made the right choice.”

To help you make the transition from unhealthy foods to healthy foods, I want to share with you a few steps to help you go from unhealthy to healthy.

Step #1:

Make a decision – For me and my family, it started simply with me watching a Cooking Channel marathon the very first night I returned home. I quota to have seen three or four food shows throughout the day, and one of the closer ones ended with me saying, “I can’t believe these chefs are cavorting around like crazy trying to put food on our plate.” It was pretty clear, I didn’t want to see any of that crap clogging up my digestive system.

The instantiation of my thought was, “Food is there to make you feel you’re a million dollars, and there’s no reason to waste a single calorie.” From there, I decided I would experiment with what I had in my refrigerator and make some healthy dinners.

Step #2:

Colon cleanse – Yikes! I thought this was a joke when I first heard it. After all, I was just laughing at the word detox, but getting serious now, I feel like I’m doing myself a favor. Whenever I have a problem with Sponge Cake, my body tells me it wants a bowel movement and it doesn’t want to talk to me, but it wants to get rid of that piece of cake.

If I eat polluted water – how can I justify keeping that piece of cake in my stomach? Cake is pretty high in calories and sugar, it’s hard to justify the idea that a food that gets me off on the scale is actually good for me. After researching the topic, I discovered that a lot of the foods that people consider as healthy aren’t actually good for you, they are only necessary in moderation. I’m introducing you to my list of the most harmful foods that you need to be careful about.

1. Sugar- The occasional sugary snack is fine, however, I realized that a sugary snack every second or two isn’t the best idea. If you sweeten your drinks with sugar, or have a pure cane sugar drink, then you will not get results. The process of the body learning to metabolize sugar differently triggers different symptoms and has different side effects. You will feel hungrier more often, have bigger cravings, and your body will react by storing unwanted sugar.

On the other hand, pure water can flow in your body from the inside out, and from the environment, meaning it’s free of chemicals. You can’t beat the zero-calorie value of water. Try drinking zero calorie water instead of soda to see how you feel. Your skin may look terrible, but who’s complaining about the water? What other beverage is full of chemicals anyway?

2.complain to yourself- If you are eating junk food, you’ll want to know why. Otherwise, you will just keep doing it and make compromises. You may need to come up with a compromise that both allows you to get the food you really like and shows you acceptable, natural food.
