There are many reasons why you want to eat lean meats. Some of the most important ones are that they can lower your appetite, create a sense of fullness, and deliver protein with a low amount of fat and calories. All of these qualities can help you stay leaner and allow you to develop more lean muscle.

Instead of feeding your body with a bunch of red meats that have been processed and packaged, consider chicken, turkey and fish instead. Chicken and turkey are excellent to eat because they are low in fat, while harmful fats and open the arteries. Remember, there are leaner ways to get you to the weight you want to achieve.

Fat Burning Food #4 – Bran

Bran contains high amounts of fiber, giving your body a healthy dose of carbohydrates. Eating more low carbohydrate foods will help you feel more satisfied and healthy. Of course less carbohydrates will also mean less body fat, making you look leaner.

Try to have bran either breakfast or in between meals. You can get it in cereal or as a cooking element. You can also have flourless oatmeal. For a change, you can substitute the oatmeal with soy milk.

Not only are flax seeds low in fat, but they are also high in Omega-3 fatty acids. These contribute to lower levels of leptin in your body. Leptin is a hormone which determines whether you burn or store fat. If your body has a high level of leptin, you will have little trouble in burning fat. However, if your body’s leptin levels are low, you could be at risk to store fat.
