One pot meals are great for people on the go. These meals satisfy the single person, single mother and even the full family. One pot meals are particularly easy because you can add all of your healthy ingredients to one meal and you’re done. No need to prepare side dishes unless you prefer to do so. This allows you to lessen your preparation time freeing up more time for you to focus on what’s most important to you. In addition, one pot meals tend to leave extras for everyone to munch on the following day. These eight one pot meals will give you ideas and inspiration for easy, healthy, whole meals at home.
1. Crock Pot Meals – A staple to Crock Pot cooking, you can cook all of your favorite meals and store them in the freezer for later. With this Crock Pot recipe, you can have healthy meals for every time of the day.
2. Casseroles and Stir Fries – This one pot meal packs a ton of flavor and will have your taste buds dancing. You’ll be making tasty dips and spreads for sauces and the leftovers provide another opportunity to use up those fresh vegetables you probably stored.
3. Healthy Lasagnas – Y lasagna is easy to make and a family favorite. Simply combine tomato sauce, ground turkey, onion, extra virgin olive oil, tomatoes, zucchini, Greek seasoning, salt and pepper. Bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes and you have a healthy lasagna that even the most demanding child will love.
4. Soups – Soups are easy to make and can be made in a hurry. You can make a large variety of soup using a variety of vegetables depending on what’s in the house. You can also add in some meat if you want. The possibilities are endless.

If you want to have a cake pop, you can make a mini cake in the microwave for a quick, healthy treat.
6. HealthyFillets – With the variety of fish fillets you can have, you can have tuna salad, soy Beans, ground beef, chicken, etc. All you need is a grinder, bowl, and a sandwich bag. You can have chicken Fillet in one bowl and you can prep all the ingredients for a quick chicken salad in another bowl. Just combine everything together and pop it in the microwave for a healthy, quick meal that the whole family will enjoy.
7. Corn Tortillas – With Kids love tacos, you can make corn tortillas for your family that are full of fresh salsa, quesadillas, beans, and of course, healthy goodness. The kids will love eating it and while it is the perfect meal for dinner, it also kills thousands of bad bacteria in your kitchen.
8. Chicken or Turkey Burps – anyone who has been to my house will know that I go all out with a turkey or chicken Burp. We only do this once or twice a year, but it is always a nice treat for the whole family. You can do it with beef too. You can prepare all the ingredients and have everyone take a few handfuls of ketchup with their hamburgers or chicken and go enjoy it. Everyone will love it.
9. Pizza – Everyone loves pizza. Not only is it delicious, but it’s also extremely healthy. You can try different combinations of veggies on it for some fun toppings. For my husband, I make a pizza with two slices of standard pepperoni pizza and him eats up half of it. Of course, you can stuff the other half with any veggie you prefer. We usually include mushrooms, peppers, green pepper, olives, high fat cheese, pepperoni, prosciutto, chicken, spinach/red pepper, sea salt and some other stuff. He doesn’t even taste any of it.
10. Garlic – loves to liven up salads, sandwiches, and pastas.
11. Whip It – Whip up a fruit smoothie with some skim milk, yogurt and a banana. This is a great way to get fruit and veggies in, without them cleaning your plate.
12. whipped cream – Make your own, especially for breakfast. Mix some yogurt, low-fat milk, and a few ice cubes in a bowl and whip it until it is nice and cold. Easy to make and a great breakfast.
13. Kids have probably never had a plate of spaghetti – so why not give it to them.
